Fire remains the biggest cause of commercial and industrial losses. It is also a considerable safety risk and is a serious risk to the environment.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (the Order) places responsibility for fire safety in non-domestic facilities with the Responsible Person for the premises. Under the Order, the Responsible Person is required to have a fire risk assessment carried out and appropriate fire safety measures put in place to manage the risk, based on the specific circumstances of their premises.
Our experience and expertise in fire engineering, fire safety and fire risk management are second to none. You can rely on us to help you safeguard your property, the people within the premises and your business, and to achieve legislative compliance to satisfy “the Order” at the lowest possible cost. We apply PAS 79 as a minimum.
Our fire risk assessment consists of a visual site inspection (complete tour inside the premises and outside) to analyse and evaluate the risk of fire based on existing conditions and the type of operations, to evaluate existing fire safety measures, and to determine what additional practical and economically viable measures, if any, are needed.
The report provides a summary of what was covered in the assessment, the overall existing condition of the premises, its fire safety features and any relevant fire safety measures. It also provides recommended risk improvements in detail, with a priority allocated to each recommendation to assist in the implementation process.
A Certificate of Compliance can be issued for display upon request. This will prove at a glance that a fire safety risk assessment has been carried out that year with reference to the report for full compliance.
For very small facilities, we offer a simple and very cost effective package at an unbeatable price. The package includes the above detailed site inspection and a simplified report, which is, in itself, a Certificate that includes a brief summary of what would normally be covered in a standard report.
